Home Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies Bring Happiness To Kids

Time expected us that being a kid requires you to have your own comfort foods; the feeling it gives satisfies ourselves and soothes our inner soul. We grew up loving the best one, the homemade chocolate (CCC) chip cookies, and the best of all the comfort foods in the world.

Chocolate chip cookies is not only a snack food but a sweet biscuit that makes every child ask for more. Though it is a simple dessert but nibbling one will really make someone's day.

A person's childhood is something that is not easily forgotten. That goes as well as taking a bite of this homemade treat, memories about family reunions, birthday parties and social gatherings are easily remembered. The reminiscence is usually triggered about how it tasted, the way it was served and the moment shared.

Way back in 1933, Ruth Graves Wakefield accidentally created and discovered a new recipe to give enjoyment. Ruth was the owner of Toll House Inn, it was located in Whitman. This is how the entire company got going.

This restaurant was a popular one in 1930s and offered home-cooked meals that were delicious and this was not the only reason of its popularity. Besides this the policy of Ruth that used to offer the additional entrees helping to the customers to be taken home in addition to the cookies as the dessert was an additional reason of getting so much fame.

A cookbook was written by Ruth whose title was "Toll House Tried and True Recipes" and it was published in the year 1936 and contained recipe for "Toll House Chocolate Crunch Cookie". It took no time for this recipe to become the favorite of all the people.

There have been different versions of baking chocolate chip cookies. If you really would like to branch out, you should try all types of options and recipes to get a good idea.

The chocolate bits can either be in big chunks or small bits and some include almond nuts or other fruit bits to make it insatiably delicious. Even the way you cook them can make a difference. A hard chocolate chip cookie is going to taste a lot different than one that is soft.
