A Guide To Clean The Refrigerator

Place of a refrigerator is very indispensible in our kitchen and our lives as well. It is used to store all our perishable food items when they are not in use. It is of so much use to us but still we remain passive towards shoeing our care for it. Some simple steps to keep the refrigerator in an ungraded manner are shared here.

First of all, toss any old or expired food into the trash. Remove the food that is still good and keep it in a cooler on another refrigerator while the cleaning process is on.

Detach all the drawers and shelves from the refrigerator and keep them aside for cleaning. To clean drawers and shelves made up of metal or plastic, simply wash them with warm water and soap. But cleaning the ones made up of glass is a little time consuming, as you need to warm it in room temperature before finally washing it out.

Use hot water, a mild detergent and a clean and soft cloth for the purpose of cleaning the refrigerator. You way of cleaning must always be from top to bottom. But, if the stains are stubborn, you will require to clean it with a harsh, non- abrasive scrubber.

After the drawers and shelves, it is time to clean the interiors of the refrigerator. Wipe down the interiors of the refrigerator in order to make the refrigerator completely dry, using a clean and soft towel.

Using a clean and soft cloth wipe off the dirt that has accumulated on the jelly jars or salad dressing lid. It is the most apt time to accomplish this job. Now, put the food back into the refrigerator.

The part of the refrigerator that is most easy to clean is the freezer. It does not require any such scrubbing, as there are no spills in its interiors. You can follow the same method as the one you use to clean your refrigerator.

To clean the exterior of the refrigerator, use warm water and mild dish soap. Always start from the top and move towards the bottom. Cleaning the rubber gasket seal present on the edges of the refrigerator door is also very important. Otherwise, dust and grime may collect there, which may result in cracks in the seal.
