Including this writer, many would not want to be persuaded otherwise. I find Joe's Pizza in Greenwich Village very appetizing. You could also check out one of the newest called Artichoke Pizza that is located at East Village.
Also a look at Brooklyn will show that they are not short of great pizzerias, starting all the way from Williamsburg and over to Fort Greene. You will see many wonderful and historic pizza places all over.
Find the greatest pizzas in Midwood, at Di Fara Pizzeria that is some distance though it is always worth the extra journey as they serve the best thin crust pizza.
