First time using it was awkward, but once I got the hang of it it worked great. Have only used it twice, but 2nd time was a breeze. After using a trimmer for ten years, this was a blessing to use. The first pass in edging went very smoothly, with no hitches at all. But much to my delight the Edge Hog cut through everything like butter. What I was expecting to take a few weeks took a few hours instead. Who says women don't need power tools? It arrived in late fall and I have been able to make flower beds and borders look great. As usual, great dealings with Amazon from start to finish. This little edger is a work horse. It was quite easy to set up. I didn't need the manual. I used it for over 2 years replacing the blade only one time. Plenty of power and adjustments for depth and angle are The B&D LE 750 worked fantastic for about an hour, then just up and quit.

However, my husband insists on a gas edger at 4 times the price, so I gave it to a friend as a gift. I bought a second one for my father-in-law and he loves it.
This edger gives a distinctive defined edge. When I first used it, I was totally impressed with the edge.
I have owned this edger for nine months and have used it weekly, and it has yet to disappoint me in any way. It is lightweight, quiet, and easy to use and does an excellent job of edging my lawn.
I think now that the hard part is done, the remaining blade will last a while. Maintaining the edges shouldn't take nearly as much effort.
I had several areas where the grass had overgrown the walk by 3 to 4 inches. In the thicker areas I had to stop occasionally and move the cuttings out of the way as they were so heavy they were blocking the guide wheels.
I just backed up and hit it again and away the edger went, without even breathing hard. Even the gas-powered edger wasn't this good. I recommend this product. Happy edging.
