Unwind & Be Cool With Your Plant Pots

By Andy Morris

When you are a frustrated horticulturalist residing in a flat or a property with zero garden space perhaps purchase some plant pots or containers to begin. You may place them on your windowsill, on kitchen tops or in your backyard. Your whole situation will be brighter & much nicer.

Obviously they are also mobile thus you could rearrange them as often as you like. Just keep in mind the preferences & dislikes a number of varieties have. E.g. do they want direct sunlight or partial shade? Additionally if you aspire to grow distinctive varieties of plants you can change the soil for the type that is best for them.

Perhaps aim for the interior design look with your pots as a vital part of the look. You may have them at a range of levels from floor to ceiling. As long as the fixings are robust enough you can dangle pots from the ceiling. So you definitely benefit from the plants without using up floor space. That could allow you to produce a range of colours.

On a practical level you will need to spend some time and effort on upkeep. They will need watering more often but that is a minute price to pay for the extra color. Do not make the mistake of over-watering your pots. That may harm them as much as underwatering.

When you want to keep your plants from growing too high or spread out then use smaller plant pots. This will limit the roots & hence the dimension of the plant without harming it or touching the colors and leaves.

If you must move then every one of your containers should come with you in the removal lorry. Which, obviously, isn't possible with your garden. After all the time & effort you've spent it is fabulous to not leave them behind. They'll really brighten up your new place not to mention help you settle in and feel comfortable very promptly.

So take pleasure in gardening on a tiny scale using pots. You will detect skills you never understood you had. The fun of observing growth from seed to flourishing flower is hard to beat.
